About

Hayley Jones is a multidisciplinary artist working in graphite, painting, tattoos, photography, and mixed media. Her early life was shaped by instability, family addiction, CPS involvement, and frequent moves. After becoming independent at a young age, she turned to art and photography as both an escape and a form of healing. Her work explores themes of duality, transformation, memory, survival, and emotional contrast through symbolic motifs such as butterflies, portraits, horses, and clocks—each tied to identity, resilience, and personal experience.

She graduated from Austin High School in 2016 while working full time. From 2018 to 2023 she lived in the San Francisco Bay Area—Mill Valley, Oakland, and San Francisco—which influenced her artistic perspective and creative development. In 2018 she studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute and in 2019 studied illustration and photography at California College of the Arts.

Her work reflects a desire to break cycles of trauma and transform adversity into strength through creativity and self-expression. Through both art and photography, she aims to create work that acknowledges darkness while still searching for light, healing, and personal growth.
